The Affordable Connectivity Program is a federally funded program that helps to ensure all households can connect to their healthcare team, work and school by providing discounts toward internet services. ACP also provides a tablet at a fraction of the cost so connecting is that much easier.

Program Eligibility:

Financial Income

Household income at or below 200% of Poverty Line

*An average household (two individuals) income of less than $36,600 would qualify.


Federal Assistance

Medicaid, SSI, WIC, Veterans, SNAP, Federal Housing Assistance or Lifeline

Tribal TANF, Food Distribution on Indian Reservations, Tribal Head Start


My Pro Tablet

Eligible customers receive a tablet with an activated SIM card for only $10.01. This SIM card connects to one of the three major providers (AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon) and serves like a cell-phone. You can use the cellular-enabled tablet for all your personal needs including, work, school or health purposes.

  • What is the program and why should I apply?

    The Affordable Connectivity Program was created to ensure all households have access to the internet.  

    During the pandemic, markets were forced to connect with their customers, students and patients virtually. With ACP, all individuals receive a cellular-enabled device so they can connect to the "new normal" of learning, working, and communicating.

  • How much does this program cost?

    There is a one -time payment of $10.01 for the tablet. That's it- no monthly fee!

  • Do I have to sign a contract?

    You have to sign consent to verify your eligibility, but there is no month-to-month contract. You can cancel at any time.

  • Who is eligible and how do I apply?

    To be eligible, you have to be at or below 200% of the national poverty line or participate in federal assistance programs like SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, SSI, Veteran Pension, Federal Pell Grant, or School Lunch/Breakfast Program. To apply, you must be 18 years or older.

  • If I have a multi-person household, can I receive multiple devices?

    No, the program limits one tablet per household.

  • Do I have to change cell phone providers if I enroll?

    No, you can keep your other cell provider if you wish.

  • What if I receive discounted internet through another provider, can I still enroll?

    No, you can only receive discounted internet from one provider.

  • What kind of device do I receive?

    Approved applicants receive a MyTab Pro- 10.1 inch Android Tablet (version 12) with a case and screen protectant. MyTab Pro includes dual cameras, Bluetooth connectivity, earphone jack, and is Wi-Fi and hotspot enabled.

  • How much data do I receive?

    You receive 10 GB of data each month. The average user only consumes 2.4 GB of data every month. If you do run out of data, the device will still work but might be slower. Any unused data will not rollover to the next month.

  • Do I have to use my tablet just for school, work or healthcare reasons?

    No, you can use the device for any reason. You do have to use the device every month to remain in the program.

  • What happens if I don't use my device every month?

    If you do not use your device for 2 months, the SIM card will be deactivated. You can call Customer Support to re-activate your device.

  • Does the device software update automatically?

    Yes, you will receive notifications to update to the newest version of software.

  • What happens if my device breaks or I lose it?

    You can call our Customer Support number to walk through the defective, broken or lost device policy.
